UX Designer

My name is Laura-Adriana Florean and I come with an Engineer background. A constant urge to learn and explore, an ambition to become a Designer, a desire to be a part of the growing digital world and contribute to its development have led me to study UX Design.

My fascination for UX Design has been long-standing and persistent, so I decided to change my career and go deep into what is a UX Designer. I start this wonderful UX Design journey with some great courses offered by Interaction Design Foundation and IBM. In this courses I heard for the first time about the Design Thinking approach. I was impressed how complex problems can be resolved using Design Thinking. Every step in my learning brought me more understanding about what means great user experience.

From my learning journey I realised that UX design combines psychology, art, design, business and technology. This variety is what makes it one of the most exciting fields for me to work in. I believe that UX Designers can truly change people’s lives for the better.
